When “air-borne” noise generated (Wi) inside a volume meets an obstacle (1), it splits into two components: The first component bounces back (Wr). A part of it is absorbed by the environment (Wa = acoustic energy absorbed) while the other part is reflected, giving rise to the so-called “reverberation” phenomenon, also known as latent echo. As to the second component, it overtakes the obstacle (Wt). To obtain an adequate acoustic quality, it is necessary to increase the component (Wa = acoustic energy absorbed) and decrease the component (Wt = acoustic energy transmitted). When inspecting the site, it is vital to check the typology of the environment where the internal division is expected to happen, since non-bearing walls are often dependent on the surrounding environment. It is always essential to specify the requirements and conditions of use applicable to the premises in order to identify the divisions that suit best the intended use. Rooms having false ceilings (2) or raised floors (3) provide inadequate soundproofing without the presence of “soundproof baffles” (4), which must be fitted during the assembly and posing phases on both the false ceiling and the raised floor, in strict compliance with the internal division layout .
Consisting of uprights and crosspieces made from steel sections with gaskets installed. They are fastened together and fitted on floor and ceiling (or false ceiling) rails. An adjustable foot it fitted on the lower end of each upright while a spring pusher is fitted on the upper end to absorb the flexion in the floors. In case of a false ceiling, a self- supporting rail can be used if necessary while the upper part of the upright is equipped with a special locking end piece.
On request panels are available in melamine / wood/ lacquered with fireproof backing, Class 1 fire reaction (for quotations see page 35).
The glass hinged doors are available in two versions: The first is made with a 10 mm thick sheet of tempered glass, to UNI EN 12150 stan- dards, available with transparent (VØØ), etched (VØC) and serigraph (VØB) glass. The second version has an aluminium frame, epoxy powder coated in silky aluminium (AS), or aluminium with glossy brushed finish (AL) and a double pane of tempered glass to UNI EN 12150 standard, 6 mm thick, transparent (VØØ), etched (VØC) and serigraph (VØB) finishes. Aluminium hinges are used to hook the doors to the structure and for their movement.
Formed of an aluminium frame, painted AS (bonded aluminium silk) or aluminium with brushed polished finish (AL). With single glass frame the glass pane is 5 mm thick. For double glass frames and double glass to the outside edge, the glass pane is 5 mm thick and available with a curtain. The glass is tempered to UNI EN-12150 standards, available transparent (VØØ), etched (VØC) or serigraphed (VØB).

The electric wiring is taken along horizontal routes inside the lower track and then through the holes in the uprights, while the vertical routes travel along a series of passages in the crosspieces and inside the blind service modules. Switches, sockets, etc. can be placed anywhere on the blind modules.
Made from particleboard panels foiled with melamine resins, class E1 formaldehyde emission, fire class 2, and 18 mm thick. Veneered with wood blanks in different wood finishes, 20 mm thick. Alternatively the panels can be lacquered in various colours, 18 mm thick. The veneered panelling is produced in the direction of the vertical vein in case of SPAZIO panels and horizontal vein in case of MODULO panels.
The door jambs are made from an extruded aluminium profile painted with non-toxic epoxy powders in silky aluminium finish (AS) or aluminium with brushed polished finish (AL), with a soft PVC seal that acts as a door softening and dust seal. The jambs are fixed to the bearing structure by self-threading screws. The blind wing doors have a solid wood frame covered on both sides by a particleboard panel foiled with melamine resin, in the finishes given in the catalogue, finished with a 2 mm thick ABS border. Aluminium hinges allow hooking the door to the structure and openingit. These doors have the sash cold screen fitted standard.
IN AREAPLAN SPAZIOMODULO THE BEARING STRUCURE IS NOT ONLY EASY TO INSTALL BUT CAN ALSO BE ALTERED BY INTRODUCING DOORS, GLAZED OR EQUIPPED PANELS WITHOUT HAVING TO BE DISMANTELED. BESIDES TRANSPARENT GLASS, ETCHED AND SILK-SCREENED GLASS ARE AVAILABLE TO GIVE A DIFFERENT AIR TO THE OFFICE PARTITIONS. THE STRUCTURE IS DESIGNED TO HOLD ALL ELECTRIC AND COMPUTER WIRING.
